Today, the Student Feeding Program implemented by the Elnet Foundation and the Dire Dawa Development Association at Guguba Primary School is officially opened in the presence of senior officials of the administration, teachers, parents of students and elders. The Honorable Ato Sultan Ali, Head of the Dire Dawa Administration Education Bureau, said that the Student Feeding Program has a positive impact on students not dropping out of school; attending their studies properly; and protecting their health. He thanked the Elnet Foundation for providing financial support for the launch of the feeding program. He also appreciated the support that the Dire Dawa Development Association is providing in the education sector with partner organizations in the quality and accessibility of education. The annual budget of the feeding program implemented at Guguba Primary School is 4.2 million and will benefit 500 students, said the Development Association’s Manager, Ato Ketema Tessema.
